COMMENTS
"Die Beatles" was released at 6th. Feb 1964 as second LP from the Beatles after "With The Beatles".
Hörzu label is for the domestic release.

Original Hörzu labels were red with a white rectangular logo.
1st. press: "BIEM" and "GEMA" were printed in the box.
Matrix number: HZE 117-A-1   HZE 117-B-1
Since stereo was the norm in Germany by 1964, all mono LP's can be considered difficult to find.

HÖRZU: A TV magazine (owned by the Springer Group of Companies) got rights from the major German record companies to advertise (in their magazine) and sell selected product through their mail-order department to make it easier for people to buy product as in those days a lot more people lived outside / a far distance away from the bigger cities with their record shops.
