Odeon White and gold
label type 2-1 The record was made in Germany for Export to Switzerland. The Original Odeon label (stereo) LP's appear in two slightly different styles. The first of these styles, features the following print around the rim of the label: ALLE RECHTE DES PLATTENHERSTELLERS UND EIGENTÜMERS DES AUFGENNOMMENEN WERKES VORBEHALTEN. VERVIELFÄLTIGUNG, ÖFFENTLICHE AUFFÜHRUNG. RUNDFUNKSENDUNG UNTERSAGT (ALL RIGHTS OF THE OWNER OF SHEET MANUFACTURER AND BEEN EXCLUDED WORK RESERVED. COPYING, PUBLIC PERFORMANCE. RADIO BROADCAST PROHIBITED) In mid 1966, the rim print was changed on all Odeon releases to read: URHEBER. UND LEISTUNGSSCHUTZRECHTE, BESONDERS VERVIELFÄLTIGUNG (AUSSER ZUM PERSÖNLICHEN GEBRAUCH), VERMIETUNG. AUFFÜHRUNG, SENDUNG, VORBEHALTEN (COPYRIGHT AND PROPERTY RIGHTS, ESPECIALLY REPRODUCTION (EXCEPT FOR PERSONAL USE), RENT, PERFORMANCE, BROADCAST) The word "Bestell-Nr." was printed above the catalog number on both sides of the label. For Export issue: (Stereo only)
The song title of the 5th track of side-2: "I Want to Tell You", was printed "I Want to Love You" by mistake. The song title of the 6th track of side-2: "Got To Get You Into My Life", was printed "Got To Get Yo Into My Life" by mistake. * GEMA (Gesellschaft für musikalische Aufführungs- und mechanische Vervielfältigungsrechte.) was started in 1915 and handles the copyright in Germany. |
