COMMENTS

Released to help promote the double album "Rock 'n' Roll Music".
This was the first track to be taken from the White Album and released as a single.
Once again it appeared in the green picture sleeve of the same style as the recent "Singles Collection" series. Although, on  6th Dec. 1982, it was re-promoted with the red picture sleeve.
The labeling of both editions was the same style as the "Yesterday" release.

This single was part of that E.M.I. campaign to reissue all the Beatles official singles. All 23 (the original 22 plus this one) were issued in a similar green picture sleeve with different pictures on the reverse.
