The picture sleeve is one of two Capitol Beatles sleeves from the sixties that has different photographs of the group on each side.
(The other is prepared for "Penny Lane b/w Strawberry Fields Forever.)
The "Eight Days A Week" side features a color photo of the Beatles 20th August 1964, concert at the Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada. The "I Don't Want..." side was taken backstage prior to the Las Vegas Show.

There are East Coast and West Coast version.
East Coast version (type 1-A): picture sleeve issued in straight cut top. The label, side-2 title is on 2 lines.
West Coast version (type 1-B): picture sleeve issued tub cut. The label, side-2 title is on 3 lines.

The picture sleeve features a cropped version of the Robert Freeman color photo that served as the cover for the British album "Beatles For Sale". The picture was taken during an autumn afternoon photo session in Hyde Park.
