The first single, UA 745 was
released in either late June or early July 1964 and featured
"And I
Love Her" backed with "Ringo's Theme". This single contains instrumental versions of Beatles songs by George Martin. The front of the sleeve is similar to the front cover of the soundtrack LP. The promo single labels are white with black text. United Artists used three factories to press its singles: (A) Columbia Records in Bridgeport, Conneticut (B) Columbia Records in Terre Haute, Indiana (C) Monarch Records in Los Angeles, Carifornia. Type 1-A: The single pressed in Bridgeport have "GEORGE MARTIN AND HIS ORCH." on 1 line on the label. Type 1-B: The Terre Haute pressings have "GEORGE MARTIN & HIS ORCH." on 1 line.
