COMMENTS		Black Parlophone label with silver ink. Label rim: Label rim: Made in India by The Gramophone Co. of India (Private) Ltd. Permitted User. "Regd. Td. Mks. of The Gramophone Co., Ltd." was printed under the Parlophone logomark. The Indian pressings appear to all be dubs (copied from the British 45s). The Indian 78s, in turn, are dubs of those dubs. In the matrix, you'll find "-TI-TI," where "T" stands for "transfer." This format, in use since the 1920s, indicates a non-original pressing process. In 1964 India had labels with “Made in India” at the bottom of the label, six o’clock. By fall 1964 they were issuing the “Limited Liability” rim print on black labels which had Made in India at 10 o’clock and the LL jargon at 2 o’clock. Sometime in 1965 the next version had black labels with “Private” in the message around the rim, at 2 o’clock, still with Made in India at 10 o’clock. So, some Beatles India Parlophone singles have up to 3 black label versions.
