COMMENTS
|
Side A mainly contains
interviews and press conference footage related to the
Beatles' 1964 Australian tour. Side B includes a collection
of various recordings such as "Messages from Miami, the
Minneapolis press conference, John's memoir, and George's
press conference in America." This LP is the Japanese edition of 'Talk Downunder (And All Over) (RVLP-1013),' which was released in Australia in 1984. Therefore, the back cover includes the notation "(R) & (C) Raven Records, Australia." The gatefold cover reveals a spread of seven color photos of the Beatles on tour (in which Jimmy Nicol features rather then Ringo Starr). The obi highlights that the impromptu songs performed by the Beatles during the interview—"Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport" and a parody of "On the Street Where You Live"—are included. Around the center of the obi strip, it says: “Fully limited edition. Five special bonuses: picture label, special clear file, sticker, postcard, and collector’s serial number.” |
