Teichiku released 19
Beatles LPs. They were released by Teichiku Records Co.,
Ltd., but the label was "Overseas Records". On 21th September1985, Teichiku released three albums: "Live at Star-Club '62 (Complete Edition)", "3-D", and "Timeless II". With the release of their 19th LP, "The Legendary Beatles", in 1988, Teichiku's series of Beatles LPs came to an end. 1988 Japanese-only limited edition 64-track MONO double vinyl LP compilation pressed by Teichiku Records. Including interviews, Star Club recordings, London Decca studio auditions, a message from The Beatles to Japanese fans and more. Housed in a unique gatefold picture sleeve fold-out English lyric/Japanese text insert and picture obi-strip - stating that it is limited to 3000 copies. Nakamura Toshio: He was born in 1954. After working as a music magazine editor, he joined Trio Records and worked there from 1980 to 1982 as a director for international pop and rock music. Since the 1990s, he has produced CD reissues of T. Rex, 1960s pop, Group Sounds, and 1970s Japanese rock. |
