COMMENTS
|
Teichiku released 19
Beatles LPs. They were released by Teichiku Records Co.,
Ltd., but the label was "Overseas Records". On 21th September1985, Teichiku released three albums: "Live at Star-Club '62 (Complete Edition)", "3-D", and "Timeless II". The first was a live album from the Star Club, while the other two were interview LPs. Most of the Teichiku albums contain previously released recordings or interviews, so many of them come with limited edition numbers and special features. After releasing several compilation LPs, Teichiku's history of releasing Beatles LPs ended with the 19th LP, "The Legendary Beatles". "Be-Bop-A-Lula" was sung by Fred Fascher, and "Hallelujah I Love Her So" was sung by Horst Fascher, a German waiter and bouncer who backed The Beatles (he became close friends with The Beatles during their stay in Germany and served as their bodyguard), (although the performance was by The Beatles). "Harry Gully" is credited to The Beatles, but it was actually performed by Cliff Bennett & The Rebel Rousers. Gatefold sleeve, with red obi strip. Japanese pressing "Complete edition" added some tracks to original release. Each jacket is individually numbered on the upper right back corner. Includes a tri-fold insert with English/Japanese lyrics. Includes a bonus promo 7', presented on a cardboard page. Bonus 7' present "Twist And Shout" & "Falling In Love Again", taken from very rare Single release in UK, on June 24th,1977. |
