Mersey Beat Vol. 1, No. 13 (UK, 1962):This January 4-18, 1962 edition of the influential Liverpool music paper features an outstanding cover photo of the Beatles in their early days with Pete Best on drums. Photo taken by Liverpool based photographer Albert Marrion.
