Sleeve have "STEREO" text and labels have "ST" for stereo in a circle located next to the "33" circle.

This is a compilation album of the artists local to Liverpool and its environs.
Nippon Grammophone  at that time focused on this Liverpool sound. In 1965, Polydor independently edited the omnibus LP "Liverpool Sounds Special" which collects songs from several British bands including the Beatles.
This record contains two songs "Why (side-1)" and "Cry For A Shadow (side-1)" performanced by The Beatles.

Japanese music critic. A pioneer who contributed greatly to the popularization of Western music in Japan.
Chief editor of Japanese 60s / 70s American pop music fanzines such as Teenbeat, Popsicle, etc.
