4-By The Beatles was
released on 1st. February 1965, and featured four
songs from the previously released "Beatles '65" LP. Capitol packaged the disk in a hard cardboard jacket, which features the umbrella photo from the Beatles '65 album cover. The top of the cover contains "Produced by GEORGE MARTIN" and the Capitol logo appear in black and the song titles are in green. The East Coast pressings: have the "4-BY" logo and song titles in olive green on the jacket, has orange and yellow swirl label with left justified song titles and songwriter's credits. The West Coast pressings: have the "4-BY" logo and song titles in dark green on the jacket, has orange and yellow swirl label with centered song titles and centered writer's credits. |
