The mono and stereo front covers are the same, except for the cropping of the slick. The stereo covers cut off the boy's hands and have "STEREO" and the catalogue number at the top. Mono cover was printed the catalog number at the lower right corner of the flont sleeve. | ||

The Deutshe
Grammophon company in Germany licensed four Beatles /
Sheridan tracks to Metro-Goldwyn-Meyer and the other four to
Atlantic Records. Atlantic issued its Sheridan / Beatles
tracks on an Atco LP. It later renamed and reissued the LP
(minus two non-Beatles songs) on the Clarion label. Song No.4, side-A has only the title "Take Out Some Insurance Baby" instead of "Take Out Some Insurance On Me, Baby". |

Atlantic
repackaged its Beatles album, titled "The Amazing Beatles
& Other Great English Group Sounds", the record contains
all of the selections from the "Ain't She Sweet" LP except
for the Swallows renditions of "How Do You Do IT?" and "I'll
Keep You Satisfied". The non charting album appeared on Atlantic's newly formed budget label, Clarion, and everything about the package, from its cheesy front cover to its back liner promoting other Clarion releases. The Clarion label was a budget subsidiary label of Atlantic using material previously released on Atco and Atlantic. All albums were issued in both mono (with no prefix) and stereo (with a prefix of "SD-"). As with many budget labels, high quality control on things like true stereo were not a priority. Many of the albums were rechanneled or partly rechanneled. The front cover has the LP title in white and the song titles in black over a red background at the top. The lower part of the cover is a drawing of four faceless men that mimic the Dezo Hoffmann photographs of the boys in their collarless jackets that appeared on several early Capital picture sleeves. The mono and stereo front covers are the same, except for the cropping of the slick. The stereo covers cut off the boy's hands and have "STEREO" and the catalogue number at the top. The back liner depicts 21 album covers from the Clarion catalogue and is the same for mono and stereo albums. however, there are three variations: The custom back liners have the catalogue number 601 and list the songs on the album. 1) The first run depicts an alternate cover for the Beatles album that has a British Union Jack flag. 2) Later custom liners show the correct faceless cover for the Beatles album 3) After the stock of custom liners was depleted, albums were constructed with generic Clarion back liners with no record number or song titles.
