In the
summer of 1966, MGM repackaged its Beatles / Tony Sheridan /
The Titans album for issuance on its budget Metro subsidialy
lanel. The album was retitled "This Is Where It Started" and contained the same songs and running order as the original LP, except that two tracks by Titans , "Flying Beat" and "Happy New Year Beat" were dropped from the line up. The record was packaged in a multicolored text only cover. The back liner shows the covers to other albums in "Metro's exciting world of Music!" and has new liner notes by Sonny Daye. There are mono / stereo covers. Black label with silver print: "METRO RECORDS - A DIVISION OF METRO- GOLDWYN- MAYER, INC.- Made in U.S.A." apperes in white letters at the perimeter. Type-1) The East Coast Pressings: Pressed by MGM's factory in Bloomfield, New Jersey, with labels printed by Pace Press, in New York. The Bloomfield record have a 1 1/2" diameter ring and labels with the side number on the left and the catalog number on the right. Type-2) The West Coast Pressings: Pressed by Waddell in Burbank, California. The Waddell discs have a 2 3/4" diameter outer groove and labels with the catalog number on the left and the side number on the right.
