BuPr Pressing = Printed by Buckland Printers They are a third printing company that EMI contracted alongside Garrod and Lofthouse specifically for the production of EP covers since the overflaps are completely different to the G & L design; they're smaller and squared off whilst the G & L overflaps are thick and rounded. The BuPr sleeves are also found on the original presses so perhaps they were contracted in because G & L's EP sleeve printers couldn't handle the huge surge in demand? Perhaps BuPr were asked to help with production during this huge increase in demand. |
