COMMENTS The first U.K. seven albums were first issued on vinyl in America on 21 July, 1987, on the NEW rainbow label. They were switched to the purple label in 1988. The next six albums were first remastered in 1988, by which time Capitol was using the purple label.
All albums, except "Past Masters", were reissued in 1995. "The Beatles", "Yellow Submarine", "Abbey Road" and "Let It Be" were pressed with Apple labels. The other 1995 reissues have purple labels.
The albums had a small sticker stating "LIMITED EDITION" adhead to the shrinkwrap.

Part of Capitol's Limited Edition re-issue series of the UK catalog , issued late 1995, using the same. They are mastered from the same digital source tapes as the CD's.

All albums in this series up to "Magical Mystery Tour" have the purple Capitol label. The remaining titles are on Apple.

Catalog number revised to C1 0777 7 46445 1 8, seen on spine, bottom lower back by the Apple logo, and on labels.

The new Apple label has a cream-colored background with a light green apple.
Label design with the Capitol logo on the left side of label above the “SIDE 1” and “SIDE 2” and Parlophone logo on the right.
Capitol oval and Apple logos along the bottom back cover.
UPC on the back is more rectangular shape.
Most pressings came with black “Limited Edition” hype sticker on the shrink-wrap with a corresponding catalog number.
Disc comes in a clear rice-paper sleeve.

Pressed at Specialty Records Corporation as identified by AL-SP plus the Allied 'ɑ' stamp and "B-#####"-type matrix number in the runouts, which means this was plated at Allied but the record itself was actually pressed at Specialty.

*) Specialty Records Corporation:
Defunct US manufacturer and pressing plant located in Olyphant, Pennsylvania.
Founded in 1946, Specialty Records Corporation (SRC) was at one point one of the biggest pressing plants in the world.
Usually on vinyl from late 1970s to 2000s, denoted by a machine-stamped "SRC" logo in the runout groove deadwax (S with R and C in loops).
