Capitol Records: 1983 Reissue
New Black Rainbow Label
[1983-1987]
1987#2>

The error mono pressings of "Beatles VI" and "Yesterday And Today" began midway through the '83 Rainbow label (when they went from posterboard back to slicks on cardboard). This error continued on "Beatles VI" through the 1988 pressing with the purple label which retained the original catalog number (ST-2358).
There is NO version of "Yesterday And Today" with the 1988 purple label and original catalog number (in this case ST-2553).
The majority of the error mono pressings of "Beatles VI" and ALL of the error mono pressings of "Yesterday And Today" will be on the 1983 rainbow label. (According to "Steve Hoffman Music Forums")
"Abbey Road (SO-383)" and "Hey Jude (SW-385)" switched to an SJ prefix during the rainbow label run.
