The Australian Beatles pressings have features
that set them apart from the UK and US versions.
Some LPs have the same content as the UK versions,
but Australia also released its own compilations.
Some of the album covers are also different from
the UK versions, making them particularly
attractive to collectors.
These records were released on the Parlophone
label.
Early mono and stereo pressings closely resemble
the UK Gold Parlophone design, but the stereo
versions have silver labels, giving them a more
striking look.
One of the most notable features of the Australian
pressings is the high-quality "Audio5" pressing of
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, which is
said to be comparable to the UK Nimbus Supercut
pressings.
This collection is arranged in chronological order
of release and has endeavoured to include as many
variations as possible from the different periods.
Wherever possible, the original combination of
album cover, record, inner sleeve and lyric sheet
from each release period is presented.
We hope this will be helpful for your collection.
