This page introduces Beatles records released in India.
In India, Beatles records were released by Parlophone label, just like in the UK.
These records are now rare and highly sought after by collectors.
Parlophone's Indian division pressed about 30 Beatles 78 rpm records starting in 1963 or 1964. 78s include "Love Me Do / P.S. I Love You", "I Want To Hold Your Hand / This Boy", "I'll Follow The Sun / Words Of Love" and "Hey Jude / Revolution, etc.".
78 rpm records were in high demand in India because they could be played on gramophones without electricity.
Parlophone also pressed singles, EPs and LPs, and in addition to the same lineup as the UK releases, they also released many Indian compilations.
For each item, we have collected as many variations as possible from each era and arranged them in order of release.
We have introduced the jackets, records, sleeves, lyric sheets, etc. in the combinations that were released at the time, to the extent that we can. We hope this will be helpful for your collection.
