This page documents a collection of Beatles
records and related items released in the Soviet
Union (U.S.S.R.) and Russia, together with selected
releases from other former Soviet republics.
Beatles recordings first appeared on Soviet
compilation records in the 1960s, followed by
Beatles-only EPs in the 1970s and LPs beginning in
1986.
The collection includes releases on the
state-owned Melodiya label and later labels such
as AnTrop, Santa, and Russian Disc. Original
issues, subsequent pressings, compilations, and
locally adapted versions of British albums are
covered.
Particular attention is given to differences in
pressing plants, label designs, catalog numbers,
Russian-language text, and jacket artwork.
Variations of individual releases are documented
and arranged chronologically by release date or
estimated period of issue. Records, jackets,
labels, and inner sleeves are presented in their
original combinations wherever these can be
established.

Note:
This collection focuses on records
commercially released in the U.S.S.R., Russia, and
other former Soviet republics. Their inclusion
does not necessarily indicate that they were
licensed by EMI, Apple Corps, or other original
copyright holders.
