Japanese Singles

Japanese Beatles singles often had unique songs on their B-sides or songs not released as singles in other countries. Some of these even got Japanese titles (hōdai), and people still know them by those names today.
Another special thing was a sheet inside the single. It looked different from sheets in singles from other countries and had both the lyrics and notes about the songs.
For their first single in Japan, "Please Please Me" was planned. But because "I Want to Hold Your Hand" was a huge hit in America, some say it was released earlier in Japan instead. People still argue about which song came out first here.
These special details about Japanese Beatles singles make them very interesting to collectors.
