Reissue of #9-3. Dark green Apple label. Picture sleeve, featuring the titles and a black-and-white photo of the group, was designed to look like the Odeon 1st. sleeve, but it has the Apple logomark. "¥400" appears in red in the lower corner on the sleeve. In 1969, Toshiba had to reissue on the Apple label all the records previously issued on the Odeon label. And in the Apple label, there are two subtypes, TOSHIBA MUSICAL INDUSTRIES and TOSHIBA EMI. Further more, the early copies of the APPLE-TOSHIBA MUSICAL INDUSTRIES type have dark Apple on its label, though the late copies have light one. |

Reissue of #14-1. Dark Green Apple label. Cover photo is the same as #14-1,but there are two different color variations. One variation has a dark blue cover background, identical to #14-1. The second variation(which I have) has a lighter shade of blue for the cover background. Apple record labels have A-and B-side designs reversed on most if not all copies. In 1969, Toshiba had to reissue on the Apple label all the records previously issued on the Odeon label. And in the Apple label, there are two subtypes, TOSHIBA MUSICAL INDUSTRIES and TOSHIBA EMI. Reissue of #14-2. Light Green Apple label. Further more, the early copies of the APPLE-TOSHIBA MUSICAL INDUSTRIES type have dark Apple on its label, though the late copies have light one. |

Reissue of #14-3. Toshiba had already begun use of the new EMI/Odeon label as early as 1976 on certain new releases not covered under the Apple label. By the early 1980's, the EMI/Odeon label had completely supplanted the Apple label on all Beatles releases. When the record label change, the EMI/Odeon logo also replaced the Apple logo on the front sleeves of all records. EMI/Odeon record labels have corrected A-and B-side designs reversed. |
