COMMENTS
Every Christmas from 1963 through 1969, "The Official Beatles Fun Club"--established in 1962-- sent free 7" Christmas records to their fan club members. For Christmas 1970, the fan club sent out, free to members, a mono Apple LP which collected all seven Christmas recordings onto one vinyl album. The front cover was essentially the same as the 1963 cover, with the words "FROM THEN TO YOU" above it; the back of the LP showed small black and white pictures of their 1964 to 1969 sleeves. Come with the 8-pages booklet (maybe). |

COMMENTS
This album is the ill-fated Parlophone "Sessions" project that never saw the light of day. Material covers the period from 1962 through 1969. It includes alternate takes, previously unreleased recordings, and recordings officially released by artists other than the Beatles. | |
